You don't know how badly I wanted to be there! My family grew up in Plymouth, and I still have lots of family there! I visit quite often, but it didn't work out!
Great cars! Thanks for sharing!
I'll post a few more images later. It was a great show.
Very nice!
Have you been to the Gilmore Museum over near K-zoo/Battle Creek?

Yes! The Gilmore museum is definitely worth the trip.
On Saturday August 13th is the Volvo meet and the Lincoln meet at the Gilmore. I went last year and both marques had a great turn out. It is probably one of the best, if not the best Volvo and Lincoln meet in the country.
Of course it was special interest to me as I have had a 1955 Lincoln Capri, 1959 Continental Mark IV, and a 1973 Volvo 1800ES in my past.
BTW, I am not to far from Plymouth. I am in Grosse Ile.

Taken at the Gilmore. I was behind the cameraman. I met Chris for the first time that day. We would meet again after we had both moved to California a couple years later. The museum treated us to dual, dueling Ferrari burnouts later that morning.

Wowsers! These are wonderful! Does Meadow Brook still host a concours event?
No, actually St. Johns took over the show from Meadow brook Hall about 3-4 years ago.
