    Y'all do your thing.

    No hard feelings.

I am reverting back to this as a Vacation. Going to enjoy some roads. Enjoy some foods. And gather with a group of people that drove their Miata to a parking lot for a day.

What is 'Palooza without a Miata? Am I wrong?

True but when there is a possibility of 3 people going, the miata becomes a problem.

We have talked about your family coming. Hope to meet them.

But I am a solo Miata Nut that is going to the event so all can see her.

Your SUV is made for long hauls and highways. Ah, the comfort and amenities.

She and I want a two-lane and curves. And to gather with others of its kind in one place. Guess I am just an old fart that sees a Miata event as a place to have fun driving your Miata to and showing it off.

    The horse and driver thing...

I think that will come down to the wire anyways. I'll get both ready just in case.

Which reminds me. Did you get that spare you sent the picture of for me?

There are two Miata clubs just south of us, both older and younger crowds yet we Gearheads can't get a single person out of the 100+ SWFL Miatas to cruise with us.

Yeah, we had like 8 people in one of my first Miata area meets and now we are down to like 2. It will be cool to see more than 3 in the same spot again.

    (Homer moment:

I'm going to a place to see a bunch of Miati.
I like my Miata because it is fun to drive. And it gets attention.

Hey gang pile into the SUV and we can travel in the HOV lanes down. Yee Haw!

I think someone has chlorinated the Miati pool.

    Whoops! That was out loud.)
Haha, we will have 2 Miata with us also, one in a 28ft trailer and another on the open trailer (Ghetto-Cet), that low mileage LE I picked up not long ago should be driving alongside also...

    Out of the 11 Going

    2 Are Spouses
    4 Don't even have Miatas
    1 Ghettocet Builder
    1 Ghettocet Owner
2 Me and a Spare Driver
1 Driving the LE if it is ready, if not riding along

Not to much local Miata Members going, but all really enjoy them and are taking off 3 days to actually come down...

Since last year's 'vacation' was installing parts. This year's will be a nod to a "Route 66" style trip down. She and I are going to have fun and only one deadline. 'Palooza!

    See you folks there!

(The duct-taped wheel/tire combo was the wrong bolt pattern. Just order some FiberFix. Free shipping!)

I am not 100% sure yet that I will make it, but put me down as a possible for meeting up at the 95/26 spot. I can also attempt to be there by 9-9:30 AM

I have reached out to Rick about possibly leaving earlier but have not heard back from him as of yet. It would be nice to get some rest before dinner on Friday.

Do you have your hotel booked also? Both Rick and I are staying at the Tampa Stadium Hotel. Use the Miatapalooza group rate.

You might check the other forums as well as I saw some folks asking about a Miatapalooza caravan they could join, so maybe send them a link to here?
