Places to go to in Tokyo!

    Hello MR!

I'll be heading to Tokyo in the next couple of weeks! Will be my first time, and will be staying there for about a week.

Wanted to ask our fellow members where to head to for my JDM Roadster fix!

I'm going to try to stop by RS Aizawa, Jet Stream, and Car Make Corn's. Also, hopefully can find an UP Garage and Super Autobac's store to visit and hopefully find some Roadster goodies.

    Thanks!

There is a thread or two member "pfunk" outlined a few of those. He's an ex-pat American living there.

i dont think upgarage is really worth going to. car make corns is a must though for sure. super autobacs is cool.. but theres not much there you cant buy online. daikoku futo parking area is worth going to. theres car stuff going on every night. also tatsumi parking area, though its only accessible by car.

    You will love it!

Car Make Corn's is a definite to go to, they are lovely in there and lots of cool things to look at. You can even see the carbon fibre wall sign I made them

The other I would like to visit when I go back in Jet Stream, but I am not too sure how easily accessible it is.

Honestly its just such a brilliant city, get up early and wear some walking boats and just see as much as you can. The train network is simple enough to work out and everyone is very friendly.

Are you looking for car-related, or other stuff, too? Let me know your goals and I can give you recommendations. One thing, RS Aizawa is not in Tokyo, it's in Zama, south of Tokyo, perhaps a 90' train ride, and then a taxi from the station.

Hi PFunk, I'll be going with a friend, so not all car-related things. Some things I want to go are the Nissan Crossing museum and the Toyota museum (which I recall are in Tokyo). As of now, we will be staying in Koto, and taking the metro to explore the areas around Tokyo. What are your suggestions?

I tried to reply to your PM but your inbox is full so the system won't deliver it. Here's my reply:

The shops that I know and/or frequent aren't all that amazing to see, if you get what I mean. RS Aizawa, for example, are awesome guys but the shop's nothing to look at. The Tokyo Ohlins crew made custom-length shocks for me but the shop is boring as, so I'm afraid I cannot give recommendations apart from something like Super Autobacs, etc.
