The Ultimate OEM Floor Mats thread

I have been looking for a particular set of OEM JDM floor mats for a while now, and during that quest I realized there is a huge variety of what Mazda offered, especially back in the 90's. So, in similar fashion to "The Ultimate Steering Wheel ID Thread" I thought we needed one. So what do you people have? Which ones are the most rare/sought after? And where the hell I can find these gorgeous tan/brown ones with the oval "Roadster" metal plaque?

I'll start of with my only (for the time) set.

All black, metal Roadster plaque. Checkered design with two different styles of carpet (loop/cut). Came in early NAs I believe.

I have the brown V Special mats.

From my understanding, they came in the BRG & tan and Brilliant Black & tan JDM V Specials that were offered over the years.

Pics of my V Special mats.

I believe the plates originally had a gold color coating on them. But being that mine were a little tired, with the gold color already wearing off in spots, I cleaned and polished them out to a silver color. The black lettering is by me. I'm unsure if the lettering was color matched to the body color.

I was initially apprehensive and unsure how they would look in my car. But Mazda knew what they were doing, they're a nice contrast that goes with the tan interior quite well.

...which I do not want and thus will sell to Harry.

Jokes aside, that's a very impressive collection you have right there!

These are the ones I am talking about:

I believe I have seen a set only twice.

    I only have these currently.

The chequered one are not with a metal plate. It's made of a soft fabric. Are these OEM? I've seen them before like this, but not too sure.

I believe Mazda switched to fabric tags in NAs after a point for cost reasons; NBs all got fabric tags as well.

P.S. I believe you have a third set as well ;)

Correct. Harry recently has decided to pimp my car, or more accurately, feed my addiction, and got for me a Momo Indy steering wheel, and these OEM floor mats. Words can't express my gratitude, man!

Doesn't Ry marsh (ryry_pitcrew on instagram) have such a set?

Yes he does; his is the second set I was referring to

Doubt that he'll ever sell them though!

But what is exactly the color? The set on your picture looks almost tan. The ones on Ry's car are grey if I remember correctly.

They are almost tan I believe. The owner of the car in the pic above said they match the kevlar pattern of his seats nicely, that's why I assume it. Never seen a set in person though.

I hope this is the right 3d where to post this.
I own this nice set of MSM mats I had from new and used just a couple of times in my previous NB, they don't match my actual merlot NA so I'm thinking about selling them. Are those valuable? I guess they are very rare, hard to find in brand new conditions.

I believe they are, especially at this condition, although I have no indication on actual prices.

In other news, I have finally managed to buy a set of the unobtanium "oval" badge ones.

Sold my black checkered ones to a friend, and got myself a super clean set of black/tan ones from an NB RS, to be used as daily/winter mats.

Also, bought a pristine set of brown v-special ones for a friend, plus a set of red LE ones for a certain forum member (cough cough).
