Thank you! I follow your example, been collecting parts to freshen up the interior (new shiny bolts and nuts, heater core, foam strips etc)

Now a small update, on my seats.

They were dry, oily and cracked, so I decided to do whatever I could to save them.

I used a soft brush, a green soap bar and a microfiber towel.

Make foam, massage it on the seats to agitate the filth, and wipe with the towel.

After they were reasonably clean and dry I used Meguiars Leather cleaner/conditioner to nourish them, kinda.

Which kinda worked, the leather is soft to touch, and feels nice

I found an upper seat cover from a UK model thats in bad condition, but the back piece is intact. Ill have a local shop use it to replace the worn piece on my seat, as its only one side thats torn.

Thats the drivers side for RHD cars, the other one is in much better shape, so I dont mind it that much.

Not much have happened on the car, but I finally got my hands on something very special.

    Can you tell?

    Ta-dah!

Of course I had to test fit it.

And these modified headlight lids were included, that match the curves of the bumper. They will do for now, until it goes to the body shop and gets rounded.

Im new in the Miata game, ~4 years, but since the time I stumbled upon the Pitcrew conversion, I knew I had to have it some day. And that day came.

Congrats! Knowing how much you wanted this makes it even better! Seems like the extra lids are the original Pitcrew ones cut off from the bumper (and whoever cut them was not very good at it). It is easily fixable though!

Its only the left one, as I wanted it to feed air to the ITBs. It is for sale, but I am located in Greece, so expect $20-25 in shipping

    空白のスレート (aka RR's new ventures)

Hi y all. Wassup? Remember me? Still alive. My Miata, on the other hand... not so much.

My free time has been incredibly short the past 6 months, or maybe even a year. My Miata developed an electric issue the past summer when I decided to swap dash, and I couldnt narrow it down. I decided to take it to a shop, to have it fixed, but he ended up not bothering to fix it at all, and the car sat for 6 months exposed to the elements.

I got frustrated, I got fed up, and I decided it to put an end to my Miata story. Sold many parts, mainly performance oriented (Jenvey ITBs, ECU etc) and yesterday I finally sent the car to a proper shop to have it fixed so I can sell it.

I have found the replacement, just waiting for the Miata to be sold. Hint: its a Mazda, and its unreliable.
