Car's been good. Need to change oil before MATG, but otherwise good.

This car is practically the MATG mascot at this point.

So glad I see you enjoying the car again! MATG looks like a blast!
In the quest to cross off culprits for this stupid clunk from the front end (still there...) I'm left with...(in no particular order)
1.) Front Sway Bar bushings
2.) Upper Control Arm bushings
3.) Upper Ball Joint
4.) Inner Tie Rods
I've considered knocking out two of them by replacing the UCA's on both sides. One is original to the car, and the other was bought used. Considering the clunk is on both sides, I'm inclined to believe it's not just that arm. Now, OEM from Priority is $150 per. I could get some Mevotechs for about $60 shipped.
Which would you do?
Also: how much noise do old inner tie rods make, particularly over bumps?

Justify it as a maintenance & safety action even if it does not solve your noise.
Also check for things loose with your disc brakes and your coil over shocks.
It was great to see that you got your car back together and made it to MATG.

At this point, I'm planning to replace the arms one way or another. I just don't know whether to spring for OEM or just do aftermarket. I did aftermarket for the lower arms (OEM lower ball joints, tho) after the accident when the used arm I used as a replacement was shown to have pretty rotted out bushings. They were cheap RockAuto specials, tho, so we'll see if I regret that...

I had a similar issue with the rear passenger side after alignment; turns out the alignment guy hat tightened down the bolts to his best judgement, but not up to the torque specs. Torqued them down, noise gone.

My wifes NB clunked in the FR, it was a perished bushing on the LCA and you could feel it through the steering wheel. The alignment was walking around because of that too.
