Yeah. I was shopping NC2s a few months ago. The 128i was a car I always liked, and the pricing was better. I think the 128 lost value so much because the 135 can be problematic and BMW was using goofy Big 3-style financing options back then.
The 128 is a lot of car for the money.
When I had my e30, I went to a dyno day. There were a LOT of 135s there making 400-600hp with bolt ons and a tune. It was nuts.
I just dont need that kind of crazy in my life, but Ill take some sweet, naturally-aspirated in-line 6 cylinder anytime.
