    Light-year Fastback

    https://www.facebook.com/lightyearcarbon/

Seems as though the Lightyear fastbacks are back in production for those whom live down under... and slightly revised from the Original?

$2035 AUS or $1598 for those in America.

It'd be interesting to see a summary of all the different aftermarket hardtop options that exist(ed) for the Miata along with pictures. Kind of like a spotter's guide. Many of the fast back designs were clearly inspired by the NB Roadster Coupe, but still several of them were custom designs and not just straight up splashes taken from the factory sheet metal.

    Autokonexion
    Axis Power Racing
    Carbon Miata
    CCP Fabrication/ Treasure Coast
    Chaser Aero
    Garage Vary
    Kanspo
    Kirklin
    Lightyear Carbon
    Mazdaspeed
    Simpson Design
    Smooth Line
    Snug Top
    Tyrant Fabrication
    Warhorse

This list isn't exhaustive. Anyone can feel free to add to it.

That first one on the list is vaporware, ive seen folks waiting for more than a year to get one, LOL

Also Tyrant is also a no show on theirs, I think they just took folks money and only made 1 or 2.

Treasure Coast and Renderos have tops too, right? I think it's Renderos that makes really more of a skin top that is bolted to cages for racing applications.

This should probably be it's own topic. But also, it should be split into OEM reproductions and original designs. Also also, you forgot Hardcore Design

I know. I still think the defunct companies, scammers and vaporware makers should be listed if only to serve as a warning so people don't get ripped off. It would also help buyers evaluate used items. There are definitely some Autokonexion tops in existence even though you cannot buy them new anymore.

I’ve got a hcd fastback from Greece under order. Will be able to compare it to the AK one.
