Time to start cutting up a perfectly good dash.

Enter the ABS. I love working with this stuff!

Wrapping the dash. Not a lot of pics of this. Just lots of fabric, spray glue and patience.

The window switches are just lying on the trans tunnel. It took me forever to get around to mounting them.

Mounting red/white LEDs under the dash:

Finally mounted the window switches last weekend. I canted them toward the driver for an easy, natural reach.

Wow. A ton of work but worth it. What's the carpet from? Noticed it was uncut but seemed formed the correct way for a Miata?

The carpet came from Auto Custom Carpets. They sell molded carpet kits for Miatas, but none of the holes are pre-cut. Might be a PITA for a normal installation, but it worked out great for me. No need to try to patch or cover the holes that would have been left exposed if I used OEM carpet. Plus, I got nice, clean, brand new carpet!

Amazing work! Looks really good. I like the choice of materials. It really adds a more modern texture to the interior without just being faux carbon fiber.
