So unfortunately The Eunos has been down for about 2 weeks until this past Saturday! Some how coolant line PN#B61P-15-261A (AKA:Coolant By-Pass Hose) decided it wanted to attack my Supercharger Belt and the belt cut a hole in the coolant line so I had to get a new one. Install was pretty easy and it is nice to see some new rubber in the engine bay. I also did a full coolant flush and burped the system and I think it needed that because I am running a couple Celsius cooler, I was at 90 now I am at 85! and that is stock thermostat and original radiator! Upgraded cooling is also in the works I am trying to see if I should go a more OEM approach like a Maruha or get a full aluminum radiator. After my install I decided a drive was for sure in the cards. So I threw in my Wayne's World CD and took a nice cruise and took some pics along the way.

And I found myself meeting up with some friends at the mall to watch Lion King (Highly Recommend) and when it was over I walked out to a group of teens geeking out which is always funny to see.

Also Adam from RevLimiter you recently made a B-SPEC emblem for ExoFuji you think I can get 1 or 2? The rear end needs something.

Welp not much has happened but you all deserve an update. I have simply been maintaining the Eunos doing maintenance and making sure it is always chugging. I have been really focused on getting school out of the way. I have a couple things at the house waiting for paint and a set of wheels waiting for tires. I will have a few updates soon because I have been slowly organizing some pieces I need for restoration bits I would like to have the roadster back to its original spec (Except for some tasteful upgrades.)

But in the mean time enjoy some pics!!

Finally had the time to do some work on the Eunos.

So ever since I have owned the car the passenger side skirt never sat perfectly in the door jam and it has always bothered me so on Saturday I was finally able to fix it.

Removing the skirts however reveals a cursed image this car without them looks way too wacky. also cleaned up all the dirt from the body washed it and clay barred it so now its nice and clean.
    2AD89E66-540C-45FB-9D3E-E2CF2E7FDC37.jpg

Also was 99% sure they were real but its always nice to see that they're real GV.
    FEC60B5D-FEEE-46DE-97CF-F42309423821.jpg

So after I cleaned up the passenger side I said might as well do the driver side and happy I did because I found an unwanted visitor. Mr. Rust was trying to make his way into the car but I make quick work of him and it has been eliminated. thankfully my dad was painting an OEM Bumper for the RX8 in Brilliant Black (Update for that soon) so I had paint ready to go and thankfully its under the skirt so nobody could ever see it.
Here is a pic mid sanding:

So when I had the skirts off i saw 2 leaves behind the fenders and decided I need to remove them and clean extensively. so I removed the fenders and found 3 very cool things. absolutely 0 rust which is good. I have fender braces and I found this what looks like an oil change or maybe timing belt magnet inside the fender(No idea how it got there).

And finally the moment I have been waiting for and I am sure most of you all as well I test fitted the MS Bumper and it fits perfectly. I didn't bolt it up and have pictures of it on the floor but it lines up very very well. I cant wait to finish this thing ASAP.

It is special indeed. It will complete the car in my opinion but i think a mazdaspeed wing is for sure needed to be the king of cool.

Although I think that the one on Pete's (oldgrayleather) car would suit your vision better ;)

You may want to contact Alex at SNS Parts because he just picked this up tonight and will be parting it out:

Bout time I put this car to work. 2 weeks ago was a local autox at Homestead Miami Speedways go kart track that they convert into an autox course! tons of fun especially when your car is a go kart. I had a blast even if my tires were a horrendous treadware but it made for some great intense driving and some awesome skids. Thanks to the on track camera man for getting these shots. Everyone loved seeing the roadster in person and the sweet sound of the SC sounds great and it is great to see it in its natural habitat I got to talk with old miata friends, make new ones and get to geek out over parts. unfortunately this is the last autox at this track.... for now. I feel it will return but the owner of the event said it is done because he cant afford it unfortunately so we will see.

I prefer the Type II side skirt but in terms of the wing, I like the Type I better

    Just the same, great build
MIATA...incredibly fun to drive - as that is its only purpose for being.
