So thats sort of how she got to where she is body wise. She has had many upgrades chassis wise over the years, the most important being brakes and Suspension. Her brakes are a bit of a mix but stop her very hard, on the rear I use the brakes off the MK2.5 SVT which use a 276mm Rotor it's a very simple conversion as most of you know. The front however are pretty much a 1 off. My friend and I created a modified hub which would accept Honda Calipers from the 96 SPec Integra all the way to Honda NSX Calipers, I chose to use the Honda Legend ones, they are basically the same spec as NSX without the NSX letters cast into them, they are dual piston and I run 282mm Front Rotors from a Rover ZS180. The solution looks OEM and there for when it comes to buying consumables it's off the shelf no specialist parts with specialist prices. Also the when the Safety inspection happens they don't notice the massive upgrade.

Here are the front's against the standard 1.8 MK1 brakes, you can see the difference is pretty substantial.

On the inside the interior is fairly complete for now, with exception of ditching the Recaro seats as since my accident I have found it impossible to enjoy them and now will be installing my old S-Limited seats (Same as the USA Spec LE seats)

I hear you on the back issues, after my recent car accident my back gets super sore on long drives in the aftermarket seats mine being the Nakamae but I have the same Recaros as you, but doubt I will get to enjoy riding in them now.
I still have my 93LE seats but cant bring myself to install them back in the car because the rest of the interior is so tricked out already.

That is what i have struggled with also, that being said i can't enjoy myself if i'm in constant pain. Joy's of getting old Might look at some retro Corbeau seats in the future but for now I drive my Jeep Liberty KK more than I drive my Miata

Been quite some time since I updated, not much has changed with my car and that's a good thing as it means I am happy with where she is at and know when not to go too far if that makes sense. I have only added a Joyfast Hardtop for winter and a Mazdaspeed Horn push, I've also got a new engine in the garage which has Mazdaspeed Cam Shafts, Mazdaspeed Flywheel and Toda Cam Gears, Mazdaspeed exhaust manifold, this all be will be mated to a 6 speed and my 3.6 Type 2 Torsion Diff, basically same as OEM but a tiny bit lighter. Since that I have had Covid and haven't fully recovered even 5 months later. anyway i have fresh pics i hope you all like and feel free to ask questions.
