Version Advance gauges - race livery

Here's something new I'm trying - some race livery inspired gauges. My first attempt is with the classic red/black Advan livery. I'm calling it Version Advance.

It's in the store for NAs right now. I'll have the NC up shortly as well. And Martini livery is next on the list!

Let me know what you think! And if anyone wants a logo added to that tach face, it's easily done with a custom order.

Someone please make him stop. Or, at least create a quick change system for a na gauge set. Sigh.

You'll need to have multiple gauge clusters on hand and just swap them out. Of course your mileage will be difficult to track, if that matters to you.

Maybe if I put a hinge on the gauge hood. And Adam, I’ll let you explain to my wife why I have half a dozen clusters for one car.

I mean... he is the married guy with the whole house filled with old steering wheels. He might actually be able to explain it

I've honestly thought about building/commissioning a gauge face display box that would hold and provide power to a spare/unused cluster, like a lighted shadow box of some sort. Would be easy enough, If I didn't have rentals to take care of and a house to prep for moving...

This one was one of the most fun and most satisfying to do - the previously mentioned Martini Racing livery. I'm calling it Version Jazz in reference to the transforming Porsche of the 80s with the same color scheme.

It's actually not too easy to get an object to go across four separate dial faces, but that stripe just demanded it.

The colors used are as accurate as possible and are an exact match to the Pantone colors used on the Martini livery.

The red needles aren't included, but I've got a blog post on painting your own. It's not difficult and is a few minutes of work spread out over an hour.

The night mode is especially satisfying.

Jazz gauges are in the store now. If you have a non-NA, just use the custom order form and request this design be made for your NB, NC, or ND. It's no extra cost to do this.
