    Hello from SoCal

    Hi guys,

Just moved down to SoCal from NorCal to continue studying Mechanical Engineering.

I used to be super involved in the community up North, but the Miata Scene is a little lacking where I currently live, so I've decided to start bugging people on the internet instead.
Being in a pretty intense program I've had extremely little time to work/mess with my NB2 so I troll the internet and local classifieds for cool parts and hoard them like crazy.

Anyway this is 'Betsy" as she currently sits:

Welcome! A few of the Roadster Cup competitors live out in the IE and occasionally have knockoff KINOD meets which they call VINOD, you might be able to find them on the Extreme Speed Roadster Cup facebook group. There's a group called inland_empire_miatas on instagram you could also try messaging, they haven't posted anything in a couple months but they might have just forgotten about IG. And if you ever feel like coming all the way over to City of Industry you're welcome to KINOD any time; some off us help work on each others cars, attend the occasional track day (June 23rd @ Apple Valley Speedway/Grange!), I just had a BBQ with a group of them yesterday too.

I've actually been to a couple of KINOD events, but had no idea VINOD was a thing. KINOD is definitely something I would love to go to more often if I had the time.

Ooh I did believe me but if I wasn’t on a college student budget and was a real baller I would have been posting pics of it.
