1.6 to 1.8 OEM ECU floor mount question.

Anyone know right off hand if the 1.8 cars have the mounting bosses for the 1.6 ECU location in the pass. floor?

Specifically the ECU cover? More specifically in a '95?

I know I need to figure something out when I install the '93LE carpet when it comes to the pass. footwell. I was hoping it'd be as easy as just getting my hands on a 1.6 ECU cover and it being a bolt in affair.

I know I'd obviously discover this once I pull the carpet out in my '95, but thought maybe someone might know off hand.

I'm not pulling the carpet anytime soon, and just want to get an answer. Kind of a tricky thing to search for and get an answer.

If anyone has any input it'd be appreciated. Even more so if there's more to it that I should know about.

    I don’t think so, not 100% certain.

It wouldn’t be hard to add either studs or rivnuts. Studs would be better, they don’t have to be crazy strong. Be sure to get the styrofoam transition at the base of the cover too.
