    Work Meisters on a Pitcrew

Man maths is being considered in Garage MadaboutMX5s.

As you know I on impulse bought a green roadster with a Pitcrew rear end. I then added a Pitcrew front.

At the moment it is running 4x114.3 15x7 SSR Formula Mesh. I like the wheels but would rather have something wider.

An option I am considering is to buy a car here in the UK with 15x8.5 Work Meister wheels and swop the wheels around, swop the door mirrors, swop the seats and either tidy up the paintwork on the purchase car and store or tidy and sell.

My question is do Work Meisters work on a Pitcrew. I am likely to respray the Pitcrew BRG so would at the time do the Work Meisters a bronze or dark gold centre.

Here are the Work wheels in question -

What don't Work Meisters work on? That's the real question.

With a proper vintage race car aesthetic, I think they would fit.

I don’t want to be a heretic but Meister’s to me are 10, maybe 20 years ahead of the era I think of when I look at a PitCrew’s vintage. Most SSR’s to me are a great choice, deep dish Hayashi’s also can look great but still “modern” a PC up a bit. Just my $.02 (or £.02).

I have to agree with Peter; not that I dislike them, but I feel they are a bit too modern.

    A mixed bag guys 50/50!

Man maths is making me think I could buy this car, swop a few bits to improve the Green Pitcrew whilst either tidy and keep the other green car or tidy and sell ending up with the bits I want less then if I buy in the open market.

If I had photoshop I would like to put them on the Green Pitcrew with gold centres as think that might work.

Send me 2 pictures of both cars from a reasonably similar angle, either here or on FB; will try to Photoshop these for you.

My vote is for Work as well, they just look great! But Hayashi would look slick too!

Thanks to HarryB who had a play on photoshop and shows work Work wheels would look like on the Green Pitcrew.

I think the Green Pitcrew with the wider arches, low ride height wouldn't be bad with Work wheels and the photoshop hasn't change my mind it may work. The drawback now is getting another mx5 with too much grief at home!

Excuse my vintage Roadster illiteracy, but I will throw-in these 15 x 8 Enkei wheels for your BRG consideration.
Add some custom Revlimiter wheel cap inserts, ohh ya!
