What did you do to your NB 2020?

New year, new opportunities to evolve!

I gave mine a much needed 6-step exterior detail over New Year's weekend.

Did some brake system maintenance (grease sliders, general clean up, check pads) as well as tidy up/re-loom a part of the front chassis wiring loom. Need to upload some pics on my build thread.

Kind of lol......send it out to be freshened up.....had the cylinders honed.....it was still tight so we kept it with std rings and bearings.....arp bolts and BE oil pump.
I had a low compression and bad leak down test. HG was the culprit but because it had 180k+ miles I just decided to do the right thing lol “while you’re there” some would say...
Plus I have a new TVS900 that I will be using to replace the MP62 so I guess tightening things up is a good insurance.

I had a full seam weld done, the side louvres integrated into the body and connected to the engine bay, the fenders pulled, the car painted, new UV and IR-cut windscreen installed, all new rubber/seals/etc around the windows done, new headlights, and a new full-loop carpet installed:

+3 My favorite NB1, hands down!! Sure would LOVE to see a build thread happen for this beautiful nb. I know you have chronicled many of the upgrades thru various threads but would really like to see a dedicated build thread.

I’ve pretty much just been staring at it in the driveway... I HAVE resolved to get it ready for the miata reunion at road Atlanta though!63DAD453-EF2C-4CC1-BF1A-36997FB51697.jpg

What's pending to get it ready?

Mine has been doing a lot of driving between home and work lately, but that's all. Gave it a quick wash the other day, only thing I had time for (and it was much needed).

I have to paint the front bumper again due to a bubble that appeared after the shop fixed some chips last time. I also want to do new sway bars, injectors, fuel pump, and tune, and a good detail since it sits outside. Nothing too crazy... I also have to install my fm frame rails and re-Amemiya seat.

Charged up the battery and got the juices flowing. Gave her a quick wash-up and a long test drive. Showed her to a local guy looking for a track toy. It's easy to forget how fun and good-driving of a car it is!

I did notice a very small amount of brake fluid on the garage floor by the passenger caliper, and a couple drops of radiator fluid after the drive. Will need to look into those on my day off

Yeah, I don't get on the forums so much these days. The PhD sucks up most screen time, and the farmhouse renovation takes the rest, but I thought I'd pop by to share proof of life.

That farmhouse project was pretty cool as well; add another thing on your "to do" list
