Anyone had experience with such a bumper?
I was thinking of cutting the fenders
The workshop guy told me that it's meant to be over the fenders for extra support and that I shouldn't do it
    What's your opinion?

Are you going to have the front as one complete piece or front bumper separate from the fenders? Me personally, I would use the extra support. If it's fiberglass, which I am assuming, I would always be afraid of it cracking somewhere.

Would they have to pull the fender out after they cut it to make it flush?

I would cut, maybe 1cm or so too large. Then fold the lip inwards, and add a stip of metal at the end. This would create a "step" on the fender for the bumper to sit against, while having a nice, OEM-looking gap, but it is quite a bit of work.

I don't think you can get it flush without bonding it, the composite will be too thin and constantly crack.

I remember Woolery lap joined his PC nose onto his NA.

Can we get a closeup of how it sits without modification?

I got lucky this week and the owner of my first turbo miata (three owners removed now, they always find me) contacted me to ask about the corksport exhaust for the msm since he happened to come into possession of one... I snagged it before he could advertise it for sale! Should ship Monday, hopefully it gets me on the ball again as far as playing with the car!

Bought me another set of wheels, in need of some TLC.

Look like 14's, but seller says they are 15x8. We'll see when they arrive here.

Back in a NB again. Took ownership of this 10AE a few months ago. My additions are 15x8 RPF1s, Meister R coilovers, and paint matched MSM rear lip.
