SNSMazdaParts Velocity Red MSM NA6 Build

Many on this forum follow some of the stuff I post up on other platforms, but really needed a space to organize and be able to reflect back on for our latest shop project and this is by far the BEST place to share and list this up. We have a Classic Red 91 with a complete Mazdaspeed Miata Drivetrain/Interior/Wiring swap and I've been on the hunt for about 4/5 months for a straight bodied Velocity Red Mazdaspeed Miata Shell to swap to NA6 drivetrain.

This will be a COMPLETE NA6 Swapped MSM running 1.6 Brakes, Rear End, Engine, Wiring, Interior, Steel Wheels, Vinyl Top on Plastic Window, Manual Windows, Manual Steering, No AC, Ect...very very excited to get this project finally started and hopefully ready in time for MATG this August if not a bit earlier!!!

Not many pictures at the moment as it was JUST picked up, but will be cleaning up the tub and prepping on it very very soon...NA6 Donor is first on the list to find...

Congrats Alex! Taking an NB all the way back to NA spec? Dash and doors should be straight forward ish but what about the manual windows?

That's the plan, for the manual windows have a pair off of a base model NB we are planning on using...it will be quite a bit of a job, but I think the end goal will really be worth it with the 91MSM next to it...Interior will all pretty much be a direct swap, the gas tank we have to keep from the MSM and I will have to run NB suspension and a different canister on muffler due to room underneath, but for the most part almost everything will be able to swap over...

NA6MSM Finally came back this week to the shop...cannot wait to get back started cleaning on it...still need to do a complete engine gasket refresh, radiator mounts, repaint bumper, and a major clean job on it however it is finally very close to being back up and finished!!!

Shop did the driverside FMIC and Intake Piping for us and it turned out AWESOME...will most likely be powdercoated black or silver for an OE look...the overflow tank is already removed and replaced with a plastic unit and will get started on a complete engine gasket refresh most likely next week as it has drips everywhere on it...
