    Miata Door Bushings

Hey, hope this is the right place to put this. But does anybody know if Garagestar is still going to be making the delrin door bushings. I sent an email and didnt get a response. Anybody got any information here.

Also has anybody had an experience with FM delrin door bushings?

    Much Apprecitated.

They seem to have packed up the Miata business. Delrin bushings are available from suppliers like moss Miata and Flyin Miata.

Delrin bushings do make a difference, but nothing like bracing such as frame rails.

I honestly don't think there is much difference between any of the delrin door bushings that makes one much better than another. I had GarageStar door bushings on Warbird,97M , and some off eBay(from a fellow miata enthusiast if I'm not mistaken) this time around for Misfire, nb2.

Some require a bit of sanding but I wouldn't let that stop me. Neither I have had needed that though. Definitely a marked improvement in a decrease in NVH and perceivable difference in rigidity.

What Chad said. Having produced and installed batch of those myself I can tell you that no 2 cars are the same; the tolerances of the stamped steel metal "cups" are what you would expect from stamped parts that get bashed and can flex. Found it easier actually to squeeze/open up the cups instead of sanding the bushings. And a smear of silicone grease every so helps a lot ;)

Not really, they still make plenty of parts for the Miata. They've just expanded their product range to other makes and models.

In regards to GarageStar they seemed to have migrated alot of their parts to their sister company's site, Circuit Dreamer.
