Wow, I am really enjoying this video series of forum members roadsters. I love all the details.
    Good idea Steven!

My car is so unfinished it is an embarrassment and all my cool Japanese parts are in storage.
But maybe I will post a super short video explaining the vision of the project.
I need a warmer day to do it's first spring start-up. (It is snowing today!)

    Show us anyways!

I blathered about my stock-ish 20 yo shitbox that I’ll likely wad up in some k-rail at a track for nearly 10 minutes. ;)

    ^^ @IHatecars

Love the ghibli sticker. also most of the rest of it. Don't worry about the blather. I actually laughed out loud at 'everyone always asks me what BRG stands for'. FLCL.. that's some excellent quarantine watching anyone else reading this... If they'd just replace the vespa with a roadster..

Nic! Love your car, glad you shot a walk-around. You'll love the Xidas; what spring rates did you end up getting after we talked?

Thanks! Unfortunately, this microphone condenses the sound a good amount, so the exhaust note sounds flatter than it actually is.

I ended up going with the 550/350. I'm still not extremely confident in my decision, but I can always upgrade later.

I test drive others but landed in the 550/350. On the softest setting they’re still compliant for LA’s poor roads and on the stiffest more than I need. I know ok track the higher rates would probably deliver more but for dual purpose these are perfect for me.

I would say the EXACT same thing. The only time I wish I had more rate is at some unusual corners on the track. Nothing I can't manage as is though, excellent around town.

Yep, pretty much my experience as well. 550/350 is ideal for street use and is more than capable for track days. I only bumped up to 700/400 due to a couple of corners at Carolina Motorsports Park. Maybe that isn't a good idea but I haven't done any events with the new rates to know.

    Sorry for derailing the thread.

    More walk-arounds please.

It's the weekend! Anyone going to do more walkarounds ? I'm really enjoying them. I'm thinking of doing a walkaround of my carib. It's the last of the Toyota Sprinter models. For ships and goggles and jdm/slav points.

I started one the other day when I washed her. Weather hasn't cooperated lately, if tomorrow is nice enough I'll finish it up and post.
