    Part number questions

I swear I've spent time (far too much time) searching the interwebs trying to find part numbers. I've been through the M.net parts catalog pdf and still no luck. So, I turn to the real experts...

I'm looking for the factory screws for soft top latches (both the striker side and latches). Also looking for the bolts that are used for the door strikers. Mazda part numbers so I can order from Priority.

Help me MR.Net, you are my only hope...

    xo

This may be helpful, but the descriptions are generic, so you'll want to Google the part numbers to confirm.

Maruha Motors to the rescue; they do have a pretty comprehensive list of OEM part numbers (and stock them too).

If this does not work, let me know. A friend of mine is a mechanic so he has access to the official Mazda system, he may be able to help.

Priority's listing will say it doesn't fit NAs, but here is the part diagram off of Jim Ellis showing it and it's part #.

Tasca Parts also has those parts and for a few cents less. Not sure about shipping cost differences. But worth checking if ya wanna pinch some pennies.

I've bought from Tasca a few times, so far reputable and trustworthy.

    Great post!

AFAIK all these are interchangeable between NA/NBs

Winner winner, chicken dinner! Thanks Jaime!! I was planning on going through Priority since I've always had great luck with them in the past but since I'm ordering a load of parts (new soft top latches for two of the cars, strikers, etc, etc will check them out).

That does lead me to having another question since I'm trying to understand the latch striker differences.

Rights show NA02-R1-361D or NA01-R1-361H (both in stock) but for left's NA02-R1-371D is in stock but NA01-R1-371H show as discontinued. I'd planned to order matching sets so that leaves the "D" version though they reference hardtop where the "H" say soft top. Since mine work the same with soft and hardtops I assumed either would work. Anyone have any more info?

From my understanding it's as follows.

The "D" is the side strikers for the HT.

The "H" is the windshield header strikers for either.

I bought these from Priority through ebay for Rose since the PO never installed the side strikers for the HT... even though he had the HT for around a decade.
