    #1498 SBY miata from Italy

Dear miata friends, here's my 4th NA, I bought it from the previous owner (who had the car for 24 years, from 1995 to 2019). Before 1995 it was living in Florida.
According to Curtis Wiseman's registry it's car #1498 out of 1519 sunburst yellow miatas made.
What pushed me to search for a sunburst (and to sell my beloved merlot NA) was mainly my past experience in SoCal in 2017, when I owned for 6 months an auto SBY miata and drove it during my dream experience on the other side of the world. I started to feel incredibly nostalgic after coming back so I started searching.
According to my informations there are just 2 SBY miatas in Italy so it was not easy to get this one.
Now it's almost 1 year of ownership and I'm in love with it. I recently started to modify it in a light and reversible way, to keep the originality of the car intact.
During last 2 months we had lockdown here in Italy (like in most of the U.S I guess), due to Covid-19, so I used part of the free time in the garage and the project developed faster than expected. I was able to fit even new suspensions, a kind of job I always asked to the car shop to do for me in the past. It wasn't an impossible job, just a little tiresome because I had just jack stands to lift the NA.
    This is the car.

Saw your yellow Nardi sig somewhere on social media; thought it was a great idea as long as the car itself is yellow. I was definitely not expecting such a gorgeous car! Welcome!

Last Thursday has been Watanabe's day my friend! Beatrix got her first JDM wheels, a set of aluminium 14x6.5 et14.5 type Bs, I'm pretty happy with the result, some minor adjustements will be made on the ride height and suspensions alignment because I put on the Meister coilover just a few days ago. A new ilmotorsport OEM replica front lip was added as well
