Talking Review: NB DanDak.net custom LED 3rd brake light

I found out about DanDak LED lights, https://dandak.net/ , by another forum member and really liked his products and the one that I really wanted to get sooner than later was the LED 3rd brake light, https://dandak.net/product/mx-5-nb-3...verted-to-led/ ,which I got a custom version, that lights up sequentially three times and then stays on till you release the brake.

After going back and forth via email and discussing what I wanted he had it programmed to my liking the second attempt to get the timing similar to my brake light bulbs that flash three times before staying on. Final numbers was 23ms between segments and 110ms off. The regular sequential is 26ms between segments. Here is my custom version:

I placed the order on Jan. 23, 2019 and Dan had it shipped out on the 27th and I received it Feb. 4th which was pretty awesome considering it was coming from Lithuania!

    Here it is:

    33 individual LED's!

That is one well built unit for sure with a easy pnp connector.

Installed in the 3rd brake light housing.

    Perfect fit!

    And installed and in action:

Product-5: I really think this is a well built LED unit that has been well thought out, executed, nice and bright with the option of customizing to ones liking.

Customer Service-5: Dan really provided excellent customer service, shipping quickly, answering emails within 24-48hrs(the former most of the time and keep in mind there is a 8hr time difference) and I think this aspect shouldn't be taken lightly since there is a language barrier to overcome which was a issue on occasion but Dan was patient and friendly despite this.

Overall Experience-5: I really have a lot of respect for entrepreneurs and small business owners especially when it is only a part time endeavor and Dan never once made me feel like I was anything less than his number one priority.

I don't think I am the best at reviews but I hope this helps others make a more informed decision. I welcome any questions or aspects that you might want clarified.

Thanks for the review. I also have one waiting to go in once my car is back from the fabricator. I also had positive experience with him during the purchasing process.
