    Steering wheel extender

    Hi.

I found this from SpacerShop,it seems nice but a little expensive.

Is this a good deal and what I should expect to pay for a product like this or is it better alternatives in the market?

I have been reading only positive feedback from people that have purchased it. To my (limited) knowledge, there's no other spacer on the market that lets you retain your factory steering wheel. I would say that the price seems fair to me given how complex it is to manufacture it. That being said, it may be wiser to move to an aftermarket steering wheel if your car does not have airbags already.

I have airbag. The NA steering wheel does have a 37cm diameter which is huge. I will install a steering wheel from the NB, it's a little smaller, if that is not enough in combination with the extender I will order Corsa 330 from GuardianDesign.

Here is how I mounted it

    Approved?

I need to extend the cord for the airbag 2-3 cm.

    Steering wheel locks - fin <roll credits>

    ;)

Nice work! That extender is a little more complicated that I expected.

It looks well engineered with one exception, there should be a squared off surround that takes up the space of the adapter and the wheel as well. If you wanted to stay with a steering wheel with an air bag it would look quite goofy from the side! This is one time my short legs will come in handy, as I well not need one. Your car seams to be coming along quite nicely! Thanks for sharing the video!

Crappy pictures. I'm not doing it for the looks, but for functionality and it really makes a difference

I know, I need a new cluster hood and I'm still in the process with fixing my side window, therefor it looks like race-car.

I still like it very much.
I had to get a second one since the first one was a miss-match.
The process to get a replacement was nice, the tone was friendly all the way.

I like the position the steering wheel got now. I will mount a NB steering wheels soon and looking forward to the smaller diameter.

I have not had any issues with the quality of the product it self. It's solid.

    Still two thumbs up.
