Post Rules for Raffles - must read before posting Raffle items for ★★★★★

Heads up, as these are the current rules for any Raffles to be held on our forum effective immediately. A few things to take into consideration for those that want to conduct giveaways and raffles.

Your profile must be filled out COMPLETELY with your City, State, Country location, email address, etc. There is no need for a life story, but what city, state, country you are in, etc needs to be filled in. There is the issue of communication, you need to have your ability to receive PM and email turned "on". You are responsible for this, no one else can do this for you. Also make sure you clear out and delete older PMs so that your mailbox does not become full. If you need more space on your inbox then you can become a sponsoring member which will put your name in "red" and give you a higher PM inbox storage limit.

Raffle hosts need to be present. If you have life issues, work, raising llamas in Colombia, or whatever is going on that keeps you from fulfilling the deal then don't even get started. Flaking out here will not end well, so please make sure you can dedicate the time necessary to make your raffle successful.

Forum Moderators, and Forum Admin reserve the right to modify these rules as necessary to protect the forum, it's members, and the community in general as needed.

Read and follow the rules, it's not difficult. If you cannot be bothered to read and follow the rules, then don't be surprised when you get shut down or banned from the forum. You fully acknowledge and agreed to follow the rules when you signed up to the forum.

Potential exceptions can be made if there is a benefit visible to our members or the forum as a whole. As always, Mods and Admin will have the last say in what happens.

    Giveaways (for Sponsors only)

Forum Sponsors can offer giveaways in their own forum sections which are open to everyone and we encourage you to visit their sections daily. The Sponsors can setup their own rules, or choose to use the forum rules as a default. Please remember to support our forum sponsors when considered making purchases for new or used parts as they are the ones who help you "the community" with tech support and new items, and help us with paying the bills on the forum.

    Raffles (for active Members)

Make the title of your thread starts with the word "RAFFLE" so that members can locate the raffle threads faster.

As far as raffles are concerned, you MUST check with a SuperMod before starting the thread. They will help you to get things organized and done correctly (hopefully). Don't just start a thread out of the blue, it can be closed and moved offline.
Make sure you are raffling something that is of quality, don't offer up junk you aren't interested in or low dollar items. It defeats and undermines the purpose of the entire effort. This is not the place to sell things, so don't go there, a sale is not a raffle.
Be organized, know how many spots you'll need, and how much money each spot will cost the participating members. Don't try and change the rules halfway through, that will get you shut down (the admin can see changes to any threads made on the Admin side)

Please do not ask members to cancel a raffle so you can buy it, once the raffle has started and has active members involved it is considered a contract, if you want the item badly enough you can just buy up all the raffle spots remaining

If you ignore the rules, you will never be allowed to participate in a raffle again and you will earn yourself a custom infraction, or outright ban for your trouble.
Have fun. This is supposed to be used to benefit the forum members. If you follow the rules then you are good to go. We are not trying to make this difficult or confusing, so if you have questions, please ask a moderator for help.

Example of a forum Raffle for those interested.

Please Keep the Raffles Related to the forum, ie related car parts, collectibles, stickers, or diecast cars

10 Spots @ 5 bucks each. Free shipping in USA.
PayPal address given when Raffle is full.
    Buy extra spots if desired

    3. Joe Schmoe
    5. Rodger Rabbit
    6. SuperYeti
    8. Dymo450
    9. Dymo450
Payments and shipping will all be through Raffle Host.

POSTAGE & TRACKING: all purchases are to be mailed out within no longer then 2weeks , unless customer request to build a box. NO OTHER EXCEPTIONS!!

For the mean time, don't start randomly sending money to people you don't know on here expecting to "buy slots" because surely there will be some bad apples that want to try to scam our members, check the number of slots available, cost, and most importantly the person holding the raffles. We HIGHLY recommend only participating in raffle with Hosts that have at LEAST 100+ posts on our forum, and or members that have their screen names in red which indicates they are Sponsoring our forum. Also we recommend you do not send any money to anyone overseas unless you are willing to accept the risk that you may never get anything in return. Moderators and Admin will be checking on the Raffles and reserve the right to yank down Raffles if they even "look" fishy, however it is ultimately up to the members to police themselves and the other members on this forum as we cannot be everywhere at the same time. The last thing we want is for anyone on our forum to get burned by some thieving scumball trying to pull a fast one on the community.

If you have questions, please ask and we can hash it out between the mods and admin.

Asking a member to click on a link not on this forum, subscribe to a youtube channel, Instagram Name, Facebook Link or website, provide feedback, donate money or goods, sign an online petition, or even asking them to “Like” a page on Facebook is considered solicitation. Our members should not be subjected to this type of spam especially under the guise that they may win something. (Site Admin.) will occasionally authorize solicitations for the forum vendors and site sponsors on a case by case limited basis.

For people who are just starting out with raffles be careful! Do your research! There are many scammers out there! If no one says they're trusted DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING! They could be scammers!

If you want to pull a random number I would highly recommend using this:

RANDOM.ORG - True Random Number Service offers true random numbers to anyone on the Internet. True Random Number Generator Min: Max etc.

You can then screen shot the winning numbers and post the image here using imgur, or flickr

    Choose from:
    1 to 10
    1 to 30
    1 to 100

    etc here are some examples
