Paul B’s 1990 Miata For Sale- heavily modified- $8500 OBO

    Hello everyone

Th time has come to try and let go of my car. My third child has recently entered the world...Having 3 kids all under the age of 6 and owning a Miata don’t really go hand in hand. Especially when I have other hobbies. I’ve been having a lot of fun with new and old hobbies with my kids. Selling the Miata would help me fund those adventures and hobbies and keep me from spending money on this car haha Eventually Id like to get back in a Miata via an NC2 or ND. Until then....selling this car will help me enjoy my kids even more.

This forum has been huge in the build of this Miata and it makes sense to give anyone here the first shot at owning it. Please reference my build thread for all the details and how I went about making this car.

Good luck with the sale man. And I am not liking this because I am happy that the car is for sale.

    Replied.

Just a heads up , not being a jerk at all. ,I will not be parting the car out. I don’t NEED to sell the car. If anything my wife actually wants me to keep the car usually it’s the wife telling the husband to get rid of it haha Id just like to explore other options IF it does sell.

I’ve built this car to be the Miata I always envisioned in my head. Each piece makes sense to me and if pieces get parted off of it, it will no longer make sense and I would no longer enjoy it in the case it doesn’t sell.

Hope that makes sense and folks understand.

    Update:

    Car has been SOLD.

After several months of messages back and forth coordinating and conversation, the car has been sold to a kind young gentleman and his wife. I get the impression that the new owner is a huge Miata enthusiast that shares our passion and wants to take my vision of the car several steps further. Sounds like the car will be motoring around Columbus Ohio so keep an eye out.

Sad to see the car drive away. I really poured a lot into this car and I think the new owner was drawn to this car for that very reason. Its comforting to know it didnt get sold to some local kid that will completely ruin it and that I wont see it driving around.

Much love to everyone here. I will still be around this forum and community and eventually ( hopefully sooner rather than later) will return with an NC2 or an ND.

    Thank you.

    I enjoyed following your build.
The growing family will sure keep you busy.

I will be like you, if I sell my car I will not part out the special bits because I want it to be sold as I envisioned it.

Good fortune to you in the future.

Man sad to see the car sale, hopefully we still see it around on here, and maybe you get another roadster down the road?

Thanks man. It didnt make sense to me to part it out and have the car be half of what it should be.

The search for the next Miata is on...it just may take a few years.

it was definitely sad to see it drive away. The new owner told me he had gone through the build thread on this forum many many times following the car's progress, so hopefully we see it on here.

Would love an NC Club or an ND eventually.
