This is a project car I have been slowly working on over the past few years to eventually compete in NASA Spec Miata. Unfortunately I am moving out of state will no longer have space to store it. As it sits, the vehicle is a reliable and very nimble track car, although you shouldn’t expect to be driving down any Corvettes or GT3s. Over $16000 purely in parts and fab work. <10 track days on chassis in current configuration.

Hardtop, mounted with aluminum permanent mounts.

Complete Spec Miata compliant roll cage built by the former Long Road Racing, builder of the factory race cars for the Miata Challenge series. Removable Earnhardt bar. Roll cage and fully-stripped interior painted in grey. Compliance-required padding around driver’s side bars.

Driver’s floor drop pan and custom mounting solution for driver’s seat, for an additional ~2.5” of headroom.

Driver’s seat: Kirkey 71 series containment seat, 17” width. For comparison, I am 5’11”, 230lbs. with an unusually long torso.

Detachable window net on driver’s side with quick-release catch.

Passenger’s seat (uninstalled): Sparco Sprint (FIA Certified) with adapter base.

Schroth 6-pt camlock harnesses (driver’s installed, passenger’s uninstalled).
(uninstalled) Spec Miata compliant ballast box with weight plates.

NRG short steering wheel hub and 2.0 Quick Release. Momo Competition steering wheel.

MiataRoaders extended shift kit – shifter is just inches from the wheel in 1st.

2020+ NASA SMC compliant Penske race suspension.

    Springfield Dyno SM-compliant exhaust.

SM-compliant anti-roll bars, new SM-compliant ARB mounting bushings and new SM-compliant adjustable end links.

Hawk DTC-30 front brake pads, Hawk HPS rear brake pads.

Falken Azenis RT615K+ tires, ~5 events on them.

New front brake calipers, <2 events.

New front brake rotors, <2 events.

    New tie rod ends.

    New spark plugs and coils.

    Spare control arms.

New SM-compliant rubber bushings for most suspension components (uninstalled).

New non-SM-compliant poly bushings for most suspension components (uninstalled).

Many original components that were removed as part of the interior strip and roll cage install are still available.

    New engine/aero undertray (uninstalled).

Some spare parts and components included in the sale.

Well Dam. I wish I saw this before the Red Miata I just bought. I was literally looking for this type of setup on an NB chassis.

Sorry, man. I have been trying to hold off on this, thinking of a way I can keep it, but it's just not possible. Even a garage/storage spot I could store the thing is too expensive.

No Worries! Believe me I know what its like not wanting to sell a Miata. I sold my BRG which I didn't want to do but it was the smart decision.

Plus I ended up getting an amazing NA that I am not afraid to beat on. So don't worry and GLWS.
