    Pivot obd2 gauges

    Hey Gang,

I would love to get a Pivot OBD2 Coolant Temp/Volt Gauge but I am not sure if it works on the NB2.

I know it has OBD2 but don't know if the tech is new enough on the Roadster to run the gauge.

I sent an email to Pivot just now but I wanted to ask my Roadster Brethren as well.

    Pivot obd2 gauges

I’ve monitored data through my OBD 2 scanner on a couple of my NBs to get snapshots of sensor readings in realtime.

Same with my NA6 through Megasquirt in TunerStudio on a laptop.

Unless Pivot uses CAN bus or something, it should work?

I am not familiar with Pivot but back in the day, I replaced the oil gauge in my cluster for a PLX gauge tied into the OBD. I was able to display coolant temp and voltage pretty easily (although no in these photos):
