    Nightbreaker Headlight upgrades?

Anyone tried these Nightbreakers out yet?? the price is coming down to a more reasonable level and they claim a 100% to 200% increase in light output vs standard Halogens

I was going to try out a set in my low profile headlights.

I've run the Nightbreakers with Raybrig and Hella reflectors - great bulbs!

Can also recommend the Phillips Racing Vision GT200 - similar performance, similar price. Using these in the AE115 with Euro-converted headlights.

These are all kind of at the limit of Halogen performance. The only way to get more light, if you need it, is some sort of LED conversion in the 7" or actual 7" LED setup. Honestly though with a decent reflector, it's good enough. Soo much better than the original sealed beams.

    I have as well, post #143: https://mazdaroadster.net/showthread...ker#post225635

I got about 15 months/5k miles/approx. 125hrs out of them. Unfortunately the price for a brighter halogen bulb is life span but this is true of all. They are worth the money, imo.

I run them in all my cars and they are far superior to the standard H4 bulbs you get at shops. As Greasemonkey mentions, they don't last forever but now that I think of it, it's been 2 or three years since I last changed them on my VW T4 and it sees regular use. They lose brightness over time though so I might change them soon before they go out completely. I recommend them.
