I'm hoping. Out of town until after Thanksgiving. Will drop it off at the dealer in 2 weeks. No airbags or glass harmed. Thankfully

I picked up a stable mate for my ND. 2021 CX-5 with ~12,000 miles. Similar color combo as Demon's ND

ND hoods are on "indefinite backorder" through Mazda. Collision shop was saying it could take 4+months to source one. Need to start looking for a minty used one, an aftermarket option, or call every dealership around for a canceled order one.

Anthony love that color on your cx-5!

Or the collision shop is lazy

Crazy but not unheard of right now. If the insurance co is paying for a rental, maybe just alert them of the pushed out date and make certain they are able to cover the cost of that on the extended timeline. It may be a subtle way for the case mgr to get some wheels turning (no pun intended).

Yeah I returned the rental. Thank goodness I'm still working from home for now. Next week I have a couple days off and maybe I can put some feelers out. But I feel like it should be their job, not mine, to source parts. Luckily the car runs and drives just fine. The headlamps still works oh, and I did my best to seal it up with tape.

The hard part is shipping a hood. I've seen more than a few ruined on the corners in transit.

Yeah. Got the quote back, under 6k. Now comes the search and wait. Have not seen an aftermarket hood that I really like either

PS. I'm still waiting on a hood from Mazda to be able to get my car fixed. Got scheduled to be ready for release until May... Efffff

New grille (OEM), Koni yellows, and Goodwin Racing springs installed today. My oldest son did most of the work, but we are both very tired. I will get some pics soon.

Springs and shocks are shiny and new. Rotors are gross.

Please post up your settled pics and let me know how you like that combo. I definitely want to kill some of this gap, but if I can get away without adjustable coil overs. I’ll be just as happy.

Today I was able to install the MX5things sequential tails, sequential fenders, and LED bumper lights in clear. Their parts all seem to be very high quality. And the installation was all simple other that clearance issues when removing and installing the bumper side bulbs and screws. Definitely use some more flexible hands

    Quick photo in my garage.

I used the second from bottom spring perch, front and back. So far I'm impressed with the ride the RoadsterSport springs provide. Rates are 300lbs F / 200lbs R so nothing too crazy.
