What did you do to your ND?

    ... Stay tuned...

Soo very close to a 100AE, but let it slide. The Snowflake kind of killed the vibe in person.

Thanks. Was getting a little too late to snap good pics, and still make it work today. It's a 21GT RF in Deep Crystal Blue Mica. Has way more gadgets than I know what to do with (adaptive headlights/lane nanny/traffic sign ID /etc). The only optional feature is the white Nappa leather seats. The color combination really reminds me of my wife's previous 428i... Much classy.

Looking at wheel options now. Want to keep it warranty friendly for a while, so maybe exhaust, center brake led line, and cosmetics. It's nice to be back in a rollerskate

Congrats. I second the ask for more pics!

After letting my 30AE reservation go, the Canadian in me then looked to the 100AE as a path but snowflake wasn’t great and felt the door cards should have had the matching red. This combo though looks very classy indeed and reminds me of the M2 1002. That would be a perfect pair for the garage one day. Nervous to go see these in person. Haha

I'm with you - not sure why Mazda didn't do the door cards (and lower dash/crash pad) in red.

The ND is a great car yet I enjoy spirited back road driving more in my NA than I do in my ND.

Looking forward to seeing what updates are planned/occur in this build.

Last night I picked up the "weather mats" that the dealer forgot to throw in on purchase day. The factory mats do not cover the transmission hump on the passenger side, which looks better, but just means being more careful getting in/out. Weather has been a little meh, so we couldn't get any decent light to show off the blue.I absolutely like the feel of the seats. The wife loves driving it, which is great as she usually does not care to drive. We have been having fun "taking turns".

Started gawking over a few options, mainly wheels and the trunk brake line. Little more difficult as there are not as many DCM blue ones in the wild (internet) with aftermarket setups

Currently debating on the Flyin Miata Hushomatic exhaust.
    https://www.flyinmiata.com/ND/nd-hush-o-matic.html
Is an active system which means it keeps stock noise levels in the neighborhood, and opens up on the road. It's a newer product and not many reviews yet, which makes me a little apprehensive. The wife and I agree that there aren't many exhaust sound clips out there that actually sound good enough to buy.

While I have not tried nor heard the Hushomatic, I have owned the Goodwin Race, SSST, SSTT, HKS Legamax Premium and Sport, Cobalt, Takeda Twin Tip, and my GReddy SP should be arriving next week. Not sure if you have a club or a lot of Miata owners around you, but the best bet is to ride or drive in a Miata equipped with the exhaust that you are interested in since sound is so subjective. For example, I was always led to believe that the Goodwin Race was too loud, but after buying a used one when I had my first ND, a 2016 Club, in my opinion it was not too loud, and in fact has one of the best sounds and was only "loud" at wide open throttle. The only negative for me was that I didn't care for the skinny single pipe, but that can be remedied with having a twin tip welded on.

Swapped out the OEM seats for a pair of Autozam AZ-1 seats - gotta save weight were you can.

Ugh. Glad you are ok though. Guess insurance covers these incidents?
