I never posted the results for the rotary switches. Finally got the harness neat enough that it won't be a pain to deal with. I just need to find someone to make some new knobs, I'm not happy with any of the of-the-shelf ones I can find and nothing matches my RS product hvac knobs.

They are going into this VVV

I've got to stop putting off projects, I started these age ago and only installed them today.

I need to get some washers to push the plate forward 5mm and I'll eventually relplace the knobs with something nicer looking, otherwise I'm real happy with how the swithces came out.

thank you jnshk, you write simple enough, and what about motion systems like this one http://www.progressiveautomations.com/control-systems) or switchers http://www.ifdfurnishings.com/kendal...al-tables-set/. Is it possible to make those stuff at home? What do you think?
