    COP harness - DIY

    My car is a '95 NA8.

I find that most of the solutions out there connects the cop harness to the plugs that original goes into the OEM coil-packs. That seems like a good and clean solution. But I have trouble finding those plugs for the harness that should go into the plugs that went into the OEM coil-packs.

Anyone know a good source for those?

Another question is, could I just bypass the plugs on the engine-harness and connect straight into the car-harness?

Seems like on the NA8, you can actually use a 6 pins plug and connect to the plug that are connected to the left for the coil-packages. The contacts are small and grey.

Learning new stuff all the time.

This is the one that I need.

Two things to consider: salvage that plug from a spare or eliminate it altogether by replacing it with another weatherproof 6 pin connector on both sides (male and female).

IIRC, the factory coil harness is detachable from the coils individually.
