Garage vary part owners lets make this thread better!

Post up the part you have, a few pictures and how the fit is, and if you had it shipped from Japan perhaps even add the shipping cost, because that's the hardest obstacle to getting the big Garage Vary parts I think.

I got my Garage vary type III on ebay.co.uk thanks to a head up from Samuli, so it was in used but decent shape.

The fitment is vary good, and the reason for the weird lines on my front is because my hood is bent (I have a new hood on the way!). The fiberglass seems sturdy enough, I've been scraping at along since I got it, and the scraping hasn't caused any cracking. It did crack when the old man backed into my car, but insurance is taking care of that, so it will be back in better shape.

vegard, you GV kit looks really good.

I am currently considering modifying the exterior a little bit.

On my wish list I want

    NB Garage Vary Fenders
    Garage Vary Hardtop rain rail
    S2 corporation flat trunk lid.

is either this parts or upgrade the ECU

It is fantastic! Every once in a while one of the sides starts to sag a bit, but that has more to do with the fact that I broke a bunch of clips when I removed my stock bumper, so there are less clips holding it on then there should be!

What makes it NB only? Fuel lid location? $2,200 seems fair for a new bolt on top (besides paint) if the fitment quality is as good as an OEM top.

Not entirely sure TBH, maybe the contours of the fenders. GV seem to mention that it is NB only in the comments on their Minkara, but it might be a dodgy translation from google.

The price is fair, just out of my range, especially once you add shipping and paint.

Ive been drooling over this top since i saw a few weeks ago. Ill start saving for this one.

I am interested to know a few details.

    1. The weather striping details (weather we would have to source our own or not) ?
    2. Will the top use the rear frankenstein bolts for mounting? Looks like it in the photos.
    3. What material will the rear window be made out of?
    4. Shipping is alittle sketchy. The packing would have to be the better then excellent. Im thinking a wooden box with being secured inside with an insane amount of bubble wrap and packing peanuts so damage wouldn't be an option.
