Spotlight: Pete Royea - NB Coupe

We got to hang out with Pete Royea and drive his lovely (and ultra low mile) NB Coupe on some local backroads.

    Wow! NB Coupe!

    Would love to have one.

Looks like Japan to Canada, and now rolling in Cali!

I need to take a trip down south to see this in the flesh!

    Thanks for sharing, 949!

I made a point to go over to KINOD while Pete had the coupe in town. I really wish they would have revived the program, or kept making coupes in following generations. I'd be jealous of Pete if he wasn't such a nice guy.

That was a spectacularly fun day and the edit made me pause and think about KINOD, California and Roadsters. The relocation process to Canada has been a focal point as has reacquainting with this odd concept called "winter". But Miati inevitably bring me back to this place that facilitated some of the most important connections I've made in my life while fueling this passion.

Thanks for the kind words Collin and @geffrocks86 - I will be road-tripping back up to Canada with it when the weather's better. Will be passing through NorCal and have always wanted to connect so will give you a heads up!

    That would be great, Pete.

Let me know and I'll bring the miata out. It's been a long time since I've done any car related meet ups. But I've been tinkering with my miatas more the last few months. Would be awesome to see a NB coupe up close.

Count on it and glad to hear you've been working on your roadsters! I went to the Oct Ohayo meet on my drive up which was fantastic. Great group of cars and owners if you're looking for an excuse to get your Miatas out and I think its in your neck of the woods (Dublin Mazda host it). Next one is mid-March.
