I'm in the process of replacing the upper radiator hose on my 2015 Miata and have two questions I hope someone can answer:
How do you access the rear engine end of the hose to remove and replace it? I've seen the suggestion to remove the cowl above it, but that still doesn't create enough room to get at it.
The hose I purchased from mazdamiatawholesaledirect.com, and every other that I've seen online, has a strange clamp on the rear engine end, referred to above, that I've never seen before and don't know what to make of. It is attached to, not on, the end of the hose and doesn't seem to have any way to tighten it. How is this clamp used?

Thanks for any info.
