I have 5 mystery rolls of film I never developed... I wonder if I'd just be wasting money now trying to develop them and see what shows up.. haha

Bought a pair of Nikon FE and FM bodies on eBay last week. Testing out the FE first. It's a really pleasant camera to use; the shutter is nice and mellow and the light meter display is great. I love the split-image and microprism collars in the viewfinders; I've never used one before. Can't wait to see the results!

I love the old FE and FM. I had a couple bodies but didn't use much because of my F3. I still have a couple rolls of Kodak infrared film I'm wondering what age will yield. Probably more than Photoshop could duplicate.

I need to go out an buy film.

I've had an old 35 a friend gave to me for about a year now. I apart from a few picture I shot with film that ended up being bad, I haven't used it at all.

I'd love to shoot some infrared someday. Maybe even color infrared, if I'm lucky. You should post up some shots!

Buy some, Nic! Come to the dark side lol.

I love the FE! The shutter is very mellow (edit: said that already, whoops lol) and the rest of the camera is a joy to use, as well. I got 24 out of a 24 roll, but I advanced past frames 6, 18, and 19 by accident (still pretty new to cameras this manual), so I think I can get 27 or 28 out of a 24 roll if I'm economical loading the film.

Welp, now to try the FM.

'Anyone shoot film' bump. Also, 'how do you guys get film developed now?' bump. Walgreens and CVS finally stopped developing in-house around these parts since I've been back. Need to check the local Costco still, but I might try a mail-in online service. Looking for mostly normal C41, but also normal E6 and Kodachrome B&W cross processing if anyone has suggestions.

I have a couple of AE-1s that I haven't used in years. I really liked the film aspect because of the ability to manipulate the image in the taking and the processing.

And, yea, a couple of un-developed rolls sitting somewhere. I did not think that anyone developed anymore.
