Should have went with 3 pod in the first place, anyways I was able to find one on Facebook market place for cheap

As a plus the seller gave me an intercooler and piping from his old turbo build, maybe I can utilize the intercooler who knows. Came with broke clamps and silicone couplers which I needed don’t really like the blue much but it was free and thicker than my old couplers

    Everything work out all good

A bit stumped on my cooling issue. Even with the reroute I was seeing temps of up to 230. Shouldn’t be seeing more than 210 apparently.

Will be flushing out the cooling system in Hopes a precisely measured 70/30 ratio does the job.

Duct work. Proper radiator ducting goes a long way for temps. Mock something up with scrap ABS panels and aluminum tape, report back

Looking back I see you don't have a intercooler so decreased radiator cooling from that is out BUT you are making probably close to 50% more power and more power means more heat.

You may have had a preexisting cooling issue that now is coming to the surface due to increased temps from the supercharger, especially since you aren't cooling that hot supercharger air. Based on the pics I presume the observed temps was on the track? If so, to me, that isn't surprising.

If nothing more than a reroute has been done on an otherwise oem cooling system with 50% more power from a non intercooled supercharger that is probably heat soaking in the hot summer temperature on the track....I am glad you didn't have anything worse to report.

My next step would be a quality aluminum radiator and ducting as Harry pointed out if track days will be a regular occurrence. Then I'd either run e85 with bigger injectors(of course then you are stuck running e85 if you are still on a oem ecu), do a water injection setup and or install a intercooler in which case you definitely want a better radiator and ducting. Singular Motorsports hood vents are by far the most efficient and cost effective for the miata that I have seen.

Well that is my humble opinion on the matter at hand.

The ladies supercharged 1.8 doesn’t even creep up at all and hers isn’t inter-cooled as well. (But yes every car is different) that’s why I haven’t bothered with an intercooler.

After about 5-6 hard laps that’s when it starts to heat up and stay at 230.
Before the reroute only 1-2 Laps In I’m already way up there. When doing 1/3 of a lap short shifting temps go back down to ~210

I have a koyo aluminum radiator but I don’t think it’s enough to overcome the heat soak the superchargers producing. The radiator is also the older model 36mm koyo offers. From what I’ve been told they changed the core in the newer 36mm.

Even Beforehand running N/A I was running into a slight cooling problem, as mentioned above it’s finally surfacing even more even with the reroute.

Before reroute,Cruising with ac on, It would creep up a little at 100 ambient.
Now it stays where it should be so for sure the reroute is doing something. On the way back home from the track ac on full blast temps stayed where it should be 195~200. 100 ambient

Oem under tray is all properly on there and nothing obstructing airflow to the radiator

So my next steps I’ll take is change water /coolant ratio and better ducting. Will also try a spare koyo I have which is the (newer) version that they released.

If all else fails a supermiata cross flow radiator should be added to the equation.

My car itself is on stock ecu and the jrsc is all stock. It’s a very well maintained 1.6, water pump, timing etc has all been done. I’m confident all other aspects of my car is in good shape, so I really have to go through the details. I’m most definitely not seeing more than 150hp so I don’t want to put all the blame to the supercharger.
