Perfect! Glad I could help. I was helping a friend with an exhaust install on a Golf TDI a few weeks ago, and it had both v-bands and sleeves. I don't understand why a simple donut flange is so difficult to incorporate into a (relatively) mass-produced exhaust, but v-band and sleeve clamps may be less susceptible to leaks - idk.

Nice! Did you make your own heat shield?

No, it's the Jass Performance Heat Shield, purchased from either TopMiata or CarbonMiata (can't remember which right now..) I had a rattle which I thought came from the heatshield, so I decided to change that as well since I already was working under the car.

It's been a minute since anyone has posted here; however, I just installed the RS4 catback, FM cat, and Raceland header. Here's a vid on it after letting the car come to temp for ~20 minutes.

Here's another one showing off how it looks from the underside:

Why not buy from JassPerformance themselves. They ship to the States
You want a good car. I want a good miata.

Anyone have a sound clip of the Corn's Ver. II 60mm?

I find a lot of random youtube videos, no specifics as to diameter.

I might be picking up Racing Beat Manifold at some point (unless I take the plunge on either a pitcrew or maxim header) to go along with my magnaflow 200cpsi sports cat; now then catback wise I'm torn on the following exhausts just wondering if anyone could shed some light, I don't really want anything that will drone too much or be "anti social":
    - Car Make Corns v2 (w/ 70mm tip)
    - BRAVE (60 or 90mm tip)
    - RS Factory Stage Type S (esentially their N zero 2 but with a larger silencer)
    - Fujitsubo Legalis R

Don't understand why the Miata Hobby as a whole does not use JetHot Coatings? I've been using their coating (or one like it) since the early 1980's and have had outstanding results in heat reduction. I'm going to use it extensively in my build to lower heat (if I live long enough to come up with all the money needed for the build). The other product I have not seen the community embrace is CenterForce clutches. Their clutch & pressure plate is outstanding in that the pedal feel is easy, but the lock up is off the charts!!! Again, I've been using them from the mid 1980's on and they are second to none!
