Anyone have any experience with the silenced corksport ?
I like the tone and gurgles of the corksport, but it's way too loud for my tastes.

Literally sounds like ass. Nearly every exhaust I've ever heard with a silencer in place sounds really muffled and desperate for breath.

You don't want to drive my car without the Corksport silencer. The few times I did, I was literally in searing pain. Louder than anything I've ever heard. If you have a full interior and a catalytic converter in place or a turbo, then go ahead and run without silencer. Otherwise, you'll be sorry. Wear earplugs. I have my silencer in at all times and it's STILL painful.

Nah you get used to it. Here's my 5 yr old Corksport with a blown canister/resonator and an Enthuza cat delete. It's loud for street use I guess but fine with a helmet on.

^ guessing the silencer wasn't in on that run? Mine's just a couple of decibels lower with the silencer, on the street, in a slow non-FI Miata. I love the sound but don't want to be heard from a half mile away.

Here's mine. Horrible sound quality on my phone. Need to use something better. Have since gotten rid of the airbag and CEL bulbs lol.

Correct. They didn't even have the silencer available when I got my exhaust. Hell it wasn't even a finished product when I picked it up. Great price though and I still like it.

    This was my old setup:

RacingBeat PowerPulse catback with midpipe res., JacksonRacing cat. and Jackson Racing 4-2-1 header.
    mounted on NA8.

But after reading some reviews and watching some vids in here, i ordered this:

can't await to mount it. will be mounted with the 4-2-1 JR header and a new 200 cells metalcat.
