I need to go with you one of these times! The only downside is I work weekends! That's when I make my money! Downside of being a server! Haha

i didn't get a chance to go last weekend, but i went up there with a friend to check out the scene. apparently a lot of people left after the morning session and put things behind. i helped out very little but still good to see what its like. the ATL region is waaaaay bigger than Mid GA which is what i expected but the green lot is so large, there's a lot of creativity that can go into a course. ironically, the average speed was around 54 seconds which isn't too far off on the Macon courses (depending).

but anyway, there's a novice school i think i'm going to join. It's only $60 and I can always use the seat time to make it happen. they are only accepting 50 people and it starts on the 12th so Danny it would be great for you to make it if you found the time! i think we might be able to share helmets even if you don't have one..

Thanks bud, There are 4 regions within a few hours of here, it's crazy. South Carolina Region is my favorite thus far, but the competition at Central Carolina Region is incredible, and I've been meaning to get down to a Coastal Empire event in Savanna which everybody says is a fantastic site.

For the record, you can fit over 120 cones in these cars...

Took my skinny street tires to an autocross. (205 Hankook V12 Evos on 7.5 RPF1s) Managed to squeak out 12th overall versus guys on their regular a/x rubber (RE-71s, Z2 star specs and what have ya) so I was more than happy with my driving.

Dropping into the "Karussell": The horseshoe turnaround at this course was banked like a speedway on the entrance and climbed back out on the exit. Loads of fun!

Back at it on December 5.
Here's me trying to save a spin. Didn't.

Managed to put together a mostly-decent run for a top-ten finish and fourth in class.
