Chris, have you thought of also installing TSI's? I seem to recommend them to just about everyone, I guess theyre one of my favorite mods. I think theyd look great on your already great looking car and increase cooling as well.

Thanks for the suggestion - did think about that and couldnt find a way to keep the indicators/position lights (necessary in germany) without destroying the overall look of the car. I actually considered a bumper conversion but for now the OEM look is right for me. Might clean the orange from the indicators though and also lose the side markers and change the side repeaters to clear ones but thats about all the changes that i could imagine for the exteriour at the moment. Focus is on engine and interior at the moment

I forgot to mention before that i had some massive problems with the car in the mean time, however, slowly getting them sorted and it's now running on Megasquirt (Alpha/N, due to initial problems with the MAP Daddy) - will have to get startup and pick up mapped a little bit better but for now its not too bad

Fantastic. I have a similar ideology with my car. Simple, fun, straight to the point. I'm enjoying your progression. Any plans for a bucket seat? The factory recaro would be perfect.

I tried the RS Recaros last year, unfortunately they wouldnt allow me to fit into the car properly. Hence the NB2 seats, which i'm considering to transform into NC2 Recaro lookalikes ;)
