    ^ beautiful, how much of a difference did that sound proofing make?

    Thanks! There was a significant change in high freq. noise. Gear whine is almost completely gone. This also is a great heat insulator... the gear box tunnel is no longer a space heater. It would also keep out the cold in northern climates such as yours.

    the McIntosh come from an american version of Subaru, and you need an external amp, i hava also a Mc amp, I preferred to do so by an electrician install

    Seats and a new steering wheel are in order. Along with a brushed aluminum shift knob. It's a start though.....
