    Overview -
    Saturday December 15th
    Meet at the Valero on Nacodoches just outside Loop 1604 10;30AM
    Depart at 11:00AM
    End up at Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood sometime in the afternoon.
    Salt Lick BBQ is both BYOB and CASH ONLY.


    Route -
    Old Nacodoches north to Solms Rd.
    Jump on I-35 north from Solms Rd. to exit 191
    Stop at Buckee's for gas/photos/snacks
    306 west to Purgatory Rd.
    Purgatory Rd. to 32.
    West on 32.
    North on Mail Route Rd.
    Right on John Knox/Wayside Dr.
    WATER CROSSING!!
    Left on River Rd. into Wimberly
    FM 3237 out of Wimberly
    Left on FM 150 to Driftwood.
    Right on FM 1826 to Salt Lick BBQ


    Poker Run!
    2 decks
    2 cards drawn at start
    1 at Buckee's
    1 after water crossing
    1 in Wimberly
    2 at Salt Lick BBQ
    Keep your best 5 card hand.
    One hand per person and passengers can play too. No cheating!


    Prizes

    Winning hand picks from the three prizes, second place picks from the remaining two, and the third best hand gets the remaining prize.


    Notes
    - Drive will be a 6/10ths - 8/10ths kind of drive with several stops for photos, etc. This is more of a casual drive then pushing it to the limit.
    - That said, this route is NOT slam friendly. Raise your damn car!
    - There is a water crossing. It is very slippery so don't be an asshat. Going slow and steady is fine but if you want to stop and take photos stay in the middle of the bridge and take off slowly. (Towel to dry your feet and/or car isn't a bad idea)
    - Salt Lick BBQ is CASH ONLY. I can make reservations once we have at least 10 people.
    - Salt Lick BBQ is BYOB. It's in a dry county so you'll need to bring your own cooler, ice, mixers, booze, cups, etc. Some of you might recognize the list as Stoly's Basic Survival Kit. Buckee's will be your last chance to get anything you might need.
    - This will be rain or shine drive.
    - Open to any and all! Invite others and as usual, this is open to all makes of vehicles.
