My Capri cover that I bought State side. Going in once my ITB install is settled (suffering from air leaks around the various metal-metal contact areas):

Will be mated with the Maruha timing cam cover for ease of access to the Toda cam gears within.

How did your engine bay get so dirty being in Florida? Do you have the belly pan installed? Looks like a bomb went off in there. The VC looks good though. Got a before picture of the VC? lol

Yes, all of my splash guards are installed. The hood has a shitty haze of white paint over black paint, if that's what you mean. The engine bay really isn't that "dirty", but the poorly exposed camera phone picture doesn't really show that. The paint in the bay is 23 year old original white and looks it's age. The VC was wrinkle black before.

Even if my car wasn't rattle canned, used daily and not a project racing car, I probably wouldn't have a super clean engine bay, because, you know, it's an engine bay. ;)

Rattlecanned red, then sanded the letters down. I love it, but once installed and driven hard, the heat caused the paint to crack, so i will be painting it again

just use your imagination, Your options are whatever you want. If you are already assuming people have cut NB1 covers, then why not search for it?

I think Slammedmx is looking for ideas... I mean everyone and their brother asks "What does a white hard top look like on a red NA?", or "What color wheels look good on my blue Miata?"

I'm sure we can help him out, and not chastise him for asking a simple question. Also, since the NA and NB valve covers are so similar, you might want to look at both.

Alright, well the only person I can think of that's done something crazy with his was Kouki. I don't know if he's on here or if I should link to the other forum.

edit : after class today, I'll look for the few cuts that I'm thinking of.
