    The steering wheel thread

What steering wheel do you have?
    What hub do you use?
Why did you choose said combination?!

    Nardi deep corn 330mm.
I wanted something that looks good, and was smaller. The primary reason I wanted a smaller wheel was so I could fit my left knee between the door panel and steering wheel as I'm 6'1".

Dear God. How did we go so long without this thread?!?!

My loft with my extra steering wheels.

Momo Master from the 1970s. 360mm, thumb buttons for the horn, and a very thick rim.

Momo F1 from the early 90s. D-cut, 350mm. I don't have a current shot. Need to swap that in for some new pix!

Nardi Classico 360 full polished. With a Nardi Tokyo horn button!

Momo Prototipo. The only wheel I've bought new. I hand polished this one. I now have a chrome vintage Mazda horn and polished bolts to go with it.

M2-1001 OEM wheel. 370mm. Made in 1991. Looks newer than my Prototipo.

Using OMP type WRC, 350mm. Wanted smaller steering wheel, had oem wheel and it was terribly big + now I have more room for knees and legs. Don't actually like that full body of wheel, drilled is nicer but ... was quite cheap and is solid

Nardi Deep Corn 350mm (80mm offset)
    Works Bell Short Hub (55mm)
    Nardi Hub Adapter (12mm)

Why? I like the dish on the 350 rather than the sharp bend on the 330.

Nardi Hub, Garage Star/Techno Toy Tuning 50mm Hub Extender, Nardi 330mm Wheel

Purchased them because I love Nardi and wanted a smaller diameter wheel. Saw the wheel for the first time on Dilly's car (CR.net) and I had to have it.

Momo Competition 350mm wheel on a Daikei hub. I wanted a smaller diameter wheel as I'm 6'0" and needed knee/leg clearance but I found that much less than 350mm interferes with seeing the gauge cluster, I got this particular wheel because phatmiata was selling it for a great price and I've loved every Momo wheel I've had. I got the hub because it's PnP, defeats the airbag light, and was locally for sale for silly cheap.

I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.

Any issues with obstructed gauges ?
That is the exact setup I want to run but don't want to get bumped out of my autoX class.
