I wish you had posted it yesterday, I got rid of my big koyo for $150 yesterday. It was only less than 1 year old but wanted the thinner koyo.

Godspeed was running a special. I paid $125 shipped for their aluminum rad a few weeks ago.

Its ok, if I were to buy a Koyo I would want a thinner one. I'm trying to decide between big radiator+small fans or normal size nice radiator.

My big Koyo was cool but, I just don't like the size since my car isn't even boosted. The 35 or 37mm is more than enough to get the job done. I wish they sold the good old durable copper/brass, instead of the aluminum with plastic top that only last until the plastic turns brown.

Thing is, my car is boosted and these Florida days are taking their toll on my car.

Florida gets stupid hot just like Arizona, hot enough to ruin clear coats on paint. I wouldn't even drive it on a hot day if its past 6 psi, at least not until you get the radiator. Go miata sells a Mishimoto rad for cheap.

I'm trying to avoid driving it during the day at all costs. But, it is my daily and I have things I need to do.

I'd say just ebay it. havent really heard anything bad about them from quite a few guys running them. especially if you're on a budget

Hmm, I'm still contemplating which rad to purchase, since it's something that I could potentially save quite a lot in if I research it more.

I plan on doing some pretty frequent track days and autox.. I was leaning towards the Koyo, but those are kinda hefty in price. I saw the Mishimotos but I don't know it's core size, I'd assume it's +50mm on gomiata website?

Anyway, I wasn't sure.. if the godspeed is good, I'll totally take it, but then again I just don't know. I need a track rat to weigh in.

For sure, my miata is my DD as well. How about trying some Red-line water wetter to keep things a little cooler until you get the rad. I had a modified 93 mr2 turbo with cooling problems and the water wetter helped me out a bit. In addition, a cooler thermostat might also help.

I got nothing against ebay, I just haven't hear much about godspeed radiators. I know the Mishi should fit without any modification, plus they are good quality but like you said, Go miata doesn't specify the size. GWR sells the 37mm for a little bit more. I want to get that 37mm koyo in the future. But since I have to buy a motorcycle, a colder thermostat and Red-line water wetter will do for now.

I actually caved and bought a godspeed radiator. I saw another guy buy one for his miata that he will be tracking soon. He really likes it and for $126 bucks shipped, I can't argue.

On the godspeed website. There is a coupon code for half off all radiators. Get on it.
