I suddenly realized, while looking at pictures of this car, that a 70s porn track was playing in my head. Can't wait to see the Pit Crew Q.
2012: Purchased Miata, Laid off 3 days later. 4th place overall (default!), NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2013: Budget RTR build, massive increase in participation, 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA (RTR)
2014: Suspension and more active competition in STS. 3rd place overall, NWOR SCCA
2015: Time for some "form" and vintage styling (while still racing NWOR, of course).

I think my buddy in NZ has a sunburst. I 'll have to check and see if it's a Malibu. He's an ex-pat from Tennessee.

Malibu, please don't install the Pitcrew nose. You car is beautiful as is, just work on the suspension and work on the interior. but exterior like is perfect.

Also on the super cool trunk lid, can you post a link to the website? Any available parts for the NB??

I love this car! I agree the nose-job wouldn't make it any better... but thats a matter of personal taste.

    Suspension: Moar Low? No.
Interior: Just installed some floor mats. Finished.

Thanks Stey. I love your Evolution Orange too. Those headlights look amazing!

This is my Pit Crew Racing bumper fitted to a black car, as listed on YJA

It has a bit of damage where it was removed from the black car, which will have to be repaired on a car, otherwise it could become twisted.
I am unwilling to risk damage to the vintage paintwork on the Malibu whilst repairing it, so I'm storing it for now.
In my opinion the Pit Crew Racing bumper doesn't suit yellow cars as well as darker colours. Here is a couple of pictures of possibly the only yellow one.

The plan is, to obtain another NA to install the Pit Crew Racing bumper. I am advertising in Australia, attempting to buy a red interior Eunos Roadster S-Limited or R-Limited, but with no success so far. I am also scouring the net looking for red interior parts. When I complete my red interior, I will then start a Pit Crew build.

Thanks for the feedback. It's nice to receive other Roadster enthusiasts opinions, whether positive or negative. Honesty is the best policy.

    Cheers.

Q, this is interesting and somewhat relieving news. I too love your Malibu Miata, and appreciate it's rarity. So, I'm glad you have other plans for your Pit Crew nose. That being said, I am truly excited to hear about your plans for the Pit Crew build. Please tell us everything!!!! And keep up the good work.

Indeed, Hooray for keeping the yellownose as is, instead of doing a Jackson-procedure on it
I've still been in doubt about my headlights tho... It's such a mess per electronics behind the bumper that I don't dare change it. Or I'd need a NBFL front bumper so I can buy the dark halo-headlights

I agree with you Black Pitcrew / red interior win!. The only pit crew I love so far is JDM Palace's. That car is sweet
