Added about 40 new photos to the banner today. Some are JDM stuff that Phat suggested. (JDM guys ... whaddayagonnado?) The rest are actual recent MEMBER photos lifted from various photo threads on the forum. Some pretty cool stuff.

Remember, shots with WIDE backgrounds are your best bet for banner exposure. I usually skip the close-cropped photos unless they're particularly interesting because they don't fill the banner. Keep posting your photos in the major photo threads!

The banner is a nice feature on this site, much improved by the increase in the number of pix. Well done for adding even more variety to it.

Whenever it's updated I sit and watch it cycle through to see everyone's pictures.

Yes thank you!! Guys make sure there is a lot of free space on the left and the right background so that we can fit it in the banner. Otherwise it won't look right with empty space

I was about to repeat most of this when I remembered that I'd already said it.

I won't be updating the slideshow again anytime soon, and I won't be looking in this thread when I do. (this is an announcement thread, not a photo thread)

Also, again, photos generally need to be very WIDE / LONG. 376x80 is nearly 5 times as wide as it is tall. So, while the photos above area good, none of them are really usable in that space.
