How to Install V8 Roadster Frame Rails

I've been meaning to get around to a huge pictorial on how to install frame rails since I have had them on my NB since September.

They were installed by Esteban from REDLINE in Kissimmee, Florida

Here are the nuts and bolts that came with the package along with two frame rails. Now my rails were bad but not as bad of the rails one any slammed miata. Mine were okay to work with.

Remove the following in the cabin of the car:

    Seats
Seat belts from the bottom bolt
    Side door sills
    Fold over carpet

Unclip this wire to make sure you do not drill into it when your 2nd man is under the car making and preparing the holes for the nuts and bots

We used a pair of pliers and a metal mallet to bang the existing rails in a place where we can slide the new frame rails on and over them

Then we removed the fuel lines out of the way because they will be relocated from there original mounting points

Now this is where a light weight guy like Esteban gets into the cabin while on the lift to perform the two man job for this write up

We placed the frame rail on one side and mounted it. It was able to hang easily while we drilled underneath the car. We drilled one hole at a time with bolts being installed from the top and the nuts hand tightened from the bottom.
